Who SEAMS Is For

SEAMS is the social platform built exclusively for baseball. It is for players from travel ball through college, for scouts and coaches looking for talent, for fans and families who love the game, and for teams and organizations that want to build their brand in the baseball community.

Every person on this platform is part of a community that baseball has built. These guidelines exist to protect that community and make SEAMS a place worth being.

What Belongs on SEAMS

SEAMS is a baseball platform. Content on SEAMS should connect to the game in a meaningful way. Here is what we welcome:

  • Game highlights: at-bats, pitching outings, defensive plays, walk-offs, stolen bases, strikeouts
  • Practice and training content: bullpen sessions, batting cage cuts, fielding drills, arm care routines, speed work
  • Baseball life: warmups, dugout moments, team celebrations, pre-game routines
  • Recruiting content: showcase footage, measurables, stat updates, commitment announcements
  • Educational content from coaches and instructors: hitting mechanics, pitching grips, fielding footwork
  • Team and organizational content: game recaps, roster announcements, event promotions
  • Fan content: attending games, supporting your favorite players, celebrating the sport

What Does Not Belong on SEAMS

Content We Will Remove

The following content will be removed from the Platform immediately. Accounts that post it are subject to permanent ban:

  • Content unrelated to baseball: general lifestyle posts, pranks, memes, or anything that could exist on any other platform without the baseball context
  • Nudity or sexual content of any kind, involving users of any age
  • Content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors in any way
  • Harassment, bullying, or targeted attacks against any individual or group
  • Threats of violence or content that encourages harm
  • Hate speech: content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
  • Spam: repetitive posts, unsolicited promotions, or coordinated inauthentic behavior
  • Misleading content: falsified stats, fraudulent recruiting profiles, or impersonation of another person or organization
  • Content that violates copyright: posting game footage you do not own rights to without permission
  • Private information: sharing someone else's personal information without their consent

Conduct We Will Not Allow

  • Using the Platform to contact a minor for any reason other than legitimate recruiting evaluation through approved channels
  • Attempting to move a conversation with a minor off the Platform to another channel
  • Creating fake accounts or misrepresenting your identity or role (player, scout, coach)
  • Buying or selling accounts, followers, or engagement
  • Using bots or automation to interact with the Platform

Minor Safety

Protecting the minors on this Platform is our most important responsibility. SEAMS has scout and coach accounts interacting with players who may be teenagers. We take this seriously.

  • All messages between adult accounts and minor accounts are subject to monitoring
  • The first message from any adult to any minor requires a message request that the minor can accept or decline
  • For users under 16, parents must approve incoming message requests from adult accounts they do not follow
  • Any adult found attempting to contact a minor for non-recruiting purposes will be permanently banned and reported immediately to law enforcement
  • If you see any suspicious contact between an adult and a minor on this Platform, report it immediately. We investigate all reports.

If you are a minor and an adult on this Platform makes you uncomfortable, block them and report the interaction to us at safety@seamssocial.com.

Scouts and Coaches

Verified Professional accounts on SEAMS carry additional responsibilities:

  • Your organization name and title must be accurate and kept current
  • You may only contact minor users through the Platform's approved messaging system
  • You may not request or accept contact information from minors outside the Platform
  • You may not promise outcomes (scholarships, offers, invitations) that you are not authorized to deliver
  • Misrepresenting your role or organization will result in permanent removal

How We Enforce These Guidelines

Reporting

Every video on SEAMS has a report button. Every profile has a report option. You can report:

  • Inappropriate Content
  • Not Baseball Related
  • Spam
  • Harassment
  • Suspicious Contact with a Minor
  • Other

All reports are reviewed by a real person. We target a response time of under 4 hours for reports involving minor safety and under 24 hours for all other reports.

Consequences

There are no warnings and no second chances on SEAMS. Violations of these guidelines result in:

  • Content removal: the violating content is removed from the Platform immediately
  • Permanent ban: any violation results in immediate, permanent removal from the Platform and all SEAMS services. Banned accounts cannot be reinstated.
  • Law enforcement reporting: all violations are reported immediately to local, state, and federal law enforcement. SEAMS will cooperate fully with any investigation and will preserve all relevant account data, communications, and content for law enforcement review.

Appeals

If your content is removed or your account is banned, you can appeal the decision by contacting appeals@seamssocial.com within 14 days. Include your username, the content in question, and the reason you believe the decision was incorrect. We will review appeals within 5 business days.

A Note on Baseball Culture

Baseball has a strong culture, and SEAMS is part of it. The game is built on respect: for your teammates, your opponents, the officials, and the community. We expect that culture to live on this Platform.

Trash talk happens. Competition is fierce. Strong opinions are welcome. But there is a line between being competitive and being harmful, and SEAMS will enforce that line.

If you see something that does not belong, say something. This Platform is only as good as the community that builds it.
